Community Conversation
IDOC is committed to helping communities bridge the gap for individuals who are trying to reclaim their lives after spending time in prison. Since one of every 40-50 adults in Idaho is under IDOC supervision, the Department of Correction plays in integral role in every SE Idaho community. IDOC recognizes that understanding local resource providers’ specific concerns, needs, and priorities is vital to assisting in their efforts to create safe, vibrant communities.
Our upcoming Community Conversation will be a round table discussion between community resource providers, IDOC leaders and parole officers, community leaders and other key members of the community. This is an opportunity to share your experiences, network with other community members and give feedback to the Department of Correction on how to bridge the gap for those reentering the community after being released from prison. As a key employment provider, you would provide valuable insights to this conversation.
