Idaho Falls Employment Health Clinic (IFEHC)

About Us

Idaho Falls Employment Health Clinic (IFEHC), PLLC is one of the newest free clinics in the region. Its vision is to increase access to healthcare among lower middle wage earners in the region. Its mission is to do so through charitable, educational, and scientific services in the field of medicine. Its goals are to provide free clinics open late, opportunities for aspiring healthcare providers, and advocacy for the region. The free clinics are for adult (non-emergency) internal medicine and employment health (notably including DOT-CDL exams for truck and bus drivers). The opportunities include a sponsored 50-hour, 6 week Paid Internship and a sponsored scholarship estimated at $10,000 each. Advocacy initiatives reach out to consumers, labor force, and other healthcare professionals - all with the purpose of improving the quality of healthcare. IFEHC's core values are quality, accessibility, transparency, patient privacy, transparency, and sustainability. It's pretty simple how our free clinics work: open 10-10, 7 days a week, by appointment only. Because Medical Director Dr. Boren drastically cuts overhead by running operations himself and the clinic beginning to receive generous donations, this initiative appears sustainable.
