Mountain River Ranch is located seven miles outside of the quaint town of Ririe, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of Eastern Idaho. This family owned business has been treating its guests to great food, fun and hospitality since its establishment in 1985. Nestled on the banks of South Fork of the Snake River with the bluffs as a backdrop there is no shortage of natural beauty. During the summer season, the ranch offers a 64 space RV Park with plenty of shade and grass along with convenient restrooms and showers. If you are looking for more of an old west experience, stay in one of the cabins, rustic rooms or even a tepee or wagon. On Friday and Saturday evenings, experience the old west by attending a dinner show. Shows include a wild-west shoot-out, horse-drawn wagon ride, dinner and a lively musical variety show. Nearby resorts feature golf, swimming, mini golf, and zip lines. Also closely located, Cress Creek Nature Trail is a scenic 1 ¼ mile hike suitable for all ages and abilities. Wildlife viewing opportunities are abundant throughout the area. Within a few miles, the Ririe Reservoir provides opportunities for boating, waterskiing and fishing. The reservoir contains six different species of fish. The South Fork of the Snake River is world-renown for fly fishing. In the winter, Mountain River Ranch offers traditional horse-drawn sleigh ride dinner shows, for couples, families and companies every night in December.
